The clubs
The best clubs in Marrakech
Every Marrakech club has its own character. Several lean French: the sound, the crowd and the mood bring back the nights you know from home, only under the Marrakech sky. Others go all in on international spectacle. Here's where we take you, and who each one is for.
Spectacle · InternationalThéâtro
This is the most famous club in the city, and probably the most jaw-dropping. Théâtro sits inside the old theatre of the Es Saadi hotel, right in Hivernage. The original stage is still there, but instead of plays you get dancers, acrobats, trapeze artists and costumed performers taking over all night. On some nights, more than thirty performers rotate while the DJ keeps the floor moving. The music runs from house to big international hits, so it's mainstream in the best sense: everyone finds their place. It's the only truly international club in our selection. Smart, polished dress code, so come dressed for it. This is the one to do if it's your first night in Marrakech or you want the full show. With KingKech you get the VIP table, skip-the-line entry and the Viano ride home.
French vibe · Trendy clubThe Circle
The Circle is Hivernage's trendy club, the one where French guests feel instantly at home. French sound, French crowd, a room that comes mostly from France: if you want to relive the feel of a good night back home, but under the Marrakech sky, this is it. The interior is refined, high ceilings, ornate Moroccan chandeliers, velvet and warm light, a look that sets the scene without overdoing it. The DJ plays what you'd hear in French clubs, the room builds through the night, and the energy is there when it counts. The crowd is a touch calmer than Théâtro, but it dances. Dressed-up attire recommended. Perfect for a hand-picked group of friends or a couple, for a night with class and no jarring culture shock. With KingKech: VIP table, entry included, and the Viano drops you right at the door.
French vibe · Artist showcasesEden
Eden is THE club for French artist showcases in Marrakech. This is where rappers and singers from the French scene turn up when they come to party or jump on stage for a set. The result: a French, festive, no-nonsense vibe, with that live-gig energy you won't find anywhere else in town. You come for the music, to dance until the end, and sometimes to watch an artist you play on repeat show up a few metres away. The crowd is mostly French, mixed with Marrakech regulars, which makes for nights that genuinely move. Dress-wise, stay presentable without overthinking it. The right pick for a bachelor party or a night that has to deliver. VIP table, entry and Viano transport all handled by KingKech.
French · Babinski Paris spiritBabinski
Babinski is the most French of the five, in the spirit of the well-known Paris Babinski it shares its name with. Anyone who knows the original spot in the 18th arrondissement will find the same attitude and the same French crowd here. Musically it leans tech house and electro, with a room that comes for the sound first, not the show. The mood is more intimate, more specialist, all about the dancefloor: no trapeze artists, no confetti drop, just a solid set and a room that lets loose. If you've been to Babinski in Paris, you'll find the same vibe in Marrakech. The crowd peaks late and holds the night. Smart-casual dress, attitude matters more than anything. With KingKech you still get your table, skip-the-line entry and Viano, even in the most underground room in town.
International · Chic houseBabouchka
Babouchka is the most international spot in the selection. The club leans fully into an imperial-Russian theme: theatrical decor, Moroccan zellige and noble materials, chandeliers and velvet, a setting that's both intimate and grand and looks like nothing else in Marrakech. Musically you're on house, deep house and a chic open format, with guest DJs flying in from all over the world. The crowd is cosmopolitan, the programming changes every week around themed nights, and the selection at the door keeps the whole thing upscale. This is the club to do if you want a stylish night, a spectacular setting and an international crowd rather than an all-French evening. Chic dress code required. With KingKech you get the VIP table, entry, and the Viano ride home.
